168 dientes confirmado, es una de las preguntas tipicas en foros gringos de Mustang, ya que se encuentran con la sorpresa de que solo hay disponible de 157 o 164 dientes.

Una de las respuestas mas concretas fue esta, en algun momento los "ingenieros" de Ford recalcularon el modulo y se dieron cuenta que con 4 dientes menos quedaba mejor ....jajajaja

Here's what the parts catalog sez: C5AZ-6384-E >> replaced by >> C5AZ-6384-A .. Ring Gear = 164 TOOTH REPLACES 168 TOOTH RING GEAR.

The reason the ring gear and the two flywheel part numbers were updated to new numbers, was because of the change in the tooth count from 168 teeth to 164 teeth.
