The Pierce Winch incorporates a powerful worm gear design to offer reliable pulling characteristics one would expect from a winch. It has been used across a broad spectrum of industries and all over the globe. From vehicle recovery to oil-field production to off-roading the odds are great you have seen this winch. Thousands of these are in the field today with many of the original designs still in action. The winch is a product of over 30 years of continual improvement and provides a timeless design. In fact, one of the best things about this winch is the availability of replacement parts and ability to work on them in the field. This winch can be configured to run on 12 Volts, 24 Volts, 110 Volts, or Hydraulics. The stall rating starts at 7,500 lbs. (110 Volt option) and goes up to 12,500 lbs. The solenoid now included is a single style compact solenoid which makes replacing much easier. The winch comes with a special blend of grease already applied to the inside. Grease zerks are included on the clutch housing to keep the clutch working smoothly. The winch has a simple mounting pattern where eight total bolts are inserted into the front and back of each housing. This allows for easy fabrication of custom mounts and efficient insertion into applications. (Note: Always be certain to use all mounting bolts when installing this winch.) The 110 Volt version has the option of either a momentary or continuous switch. The 12 and 24 Volt versions are wireless ready and come standard with a rugged and ergonomically designed rubber toggle switch remote.
